Kenyetta Williams, Student Life Counselor, graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors of Science in Sociology. She has worked in the human service field for several years helping individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders regain their sense of independence at home and in the community. She strives in aiding individuals gain a better quality of life and is pleased to continue in these efforts by dedicating herself to the girls and boys of the Seed Community... A quote that she has found indicative of what she would like to accomplish while helping others is recognizing that "There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects." Jennifer Palmore, Student Life assistant for Middlebury and Columbia, house hails from Glassboro, NJ. She is an under-graduate of Delaware State University and is currently a graduate student at Stevenson University. She has chosen to work in education and child development because she was raised by a family of educators. Her experience at The Seed School thus far has been excellent and she looks forward to mentoring new students to higher education and throughout life.
Ms. Gentles, Overnight Assistant, is a teacher that loves children and belives that much can be achieved with the cooperation of both chidlren and staff. Her admiration for her first Head Master inspired her to want to touch the lives of students in the same way that her life was affected by his good influence. For more than 20 years in Jamaica, she taught English, Language & Literature and is now transferring that knowledge and experience to enriching the lives of the students at the Seed Community.
